Idiosyncrasies
Idiosyncrasies
I guess most of us have some peculiar habits or behavior that are rather idiosyncratic (haha, is there such a word)? I begin to discover more of my own idiosyncrasies of late as I pay more attention to my own behavior and reflect what I've done at the end of every day ...
1) I get very temperamental when the weather is hot - more so, when I'm driving and stuck in slow crawling traffic. It takes no time for me to lose my patience (I'm usually rather patient - what do you think, having to wait for 1 hour for pal on MY birthday for lunch, and having to wait for her for 1/2 hour on HER birthday!!) and get irritated with slower drivers in front of me, or drivers who can't make up their mind which lane they are taking.
2) When I'm in my "moods", little things irritate me, so if I say "I'm ok" - don't insist that I'm not ... or if I say, "no thanks" - take it as that and don't insist or impose your will on me - I'll be more irritated =) of coz my "moods" refer to when I'm especially tired, feeling unwell, upset by some things, etc.
3) I don't like my things to be moved - and I knew EXACTLY how I arrange or put my things, and I get really irritated and upset if I discovered my things are being moved, "ransacked" and so on.
4) Don't bug me too often when I say I'll do something for you - I'm someone who remembers what I said I'll do, so by bugging me, I will become even more irritated with you. Of course, there are "rare" occasions that I might forget what I've said, you can gently remind me then.
Aren't we glad that despite our shortcomings and failings, and even weird, peculiar habits, etc God loves us nonetheless? No less, no more, just the way He would have loved us even if there's only us left in the entire globe. Thank you Lord =)
