Muffins
Muffins
My lecturer took time to bake muffins for each one of us who took her exam yesterday =) Really appreciate her labor of love *SMILE*
I'm not someone who can bake or who loves to bake - the fact is, I hate the cleaning up though the process can be FUN =P besides mummy's kitchen is strictly out-of-bounds. Only once in a blue, blue moon would she allow me to "ransack" her kitchen and create some inventions =)
To us individually, it might just be one muffin each, but the culmulative efforts and time took to bake the whole lot of it for the class - that expression of love and efforts alone cannot be described or measured by mere words.
When I took the muffin, she jokingly said (though still with a straight face =) "I don't care if you're poisoned" - haha, after the exam, and after tasting her muffin, die also without regrets right? *WINK* I told her before that I was really, really scared of her on the first day of class - her stern look as she reiterate her expectations for the course, etc really "scares me off". But I can see that deep down, she's such a wonderful person - a woman who loves God deeply and fears Him. I know that even though she gave us lots of assignments, readings, and had high expectations on us, ultimately it is for our own good that we learn as much as we can during our time in the college.
So, some more muffins next term after exam? *WINK*
