I am a blessing ... I am a bridge ...

I am a blessing ... I am a bridge ...

Words from our church blessing pledge:-
I am a blessing
I am a bridge
I am a catalyst to the people of .... (the place which we are going)
Through the love of God
I will embrace
I will pray
I will give sacrificially
I will rightly represent God's character
I will lay down my rights to serve others
And I will love as God loves

As the days of the m trip draws nearer, our group are rather excited, anxious yet apprehensive. Excited because it will definitely be a good time together, with our dynamics already there ... anxious because we're not sure if we will be able to accomplish what has been set down for us over at .... to do; and apprehensive because we are not sure if the decision for the kids (7 kids in total) to come along will truly turn out to be a wise one. Really have to pray that it will be a good trip - and all will be in good health throughout, especially the kids.

One of the church auntie ever said this before when she sent our SS group off at the airport many years ago, "Never worry about health or motion sickness or whatever, you are doing God's work - God will make sure He takes good care of you." How true - I've testified to that during my many m trips.

Romans 10:14-15 "How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"
