Bored ... with boredom
"Do you have anything for us to do? We're bored ... with boredom ..." words said by the girls who had just finished their "O" level exams and came back to help us in the camp. I couldn't help but laugh - bored with boredom? How miserable =)
On hind sight, sometimes we are like that, isn't it? When we have too much on our hands, we complain that we are so overloaded ... we have no time to take proper rest ... we have no time to take on additional things, etc. Yet when all our assignments and responsibilities are finished and completed, we feel "weird" with nothing on hand to do.
In fact, to a certain extent, I can understand how these girls feel - "bored with boredom". Theological college is also having semestral break now, and having no classes to attend ... no texts and reading material to rush through before attending classes ... no assignments to complete ... no deadlines to meet ... - these are also making some of us feel "weird", and perhaps also bored with "boredom". *SMILE*
Whatever it is, time that passes by will never return - seize and day and live it well!
