Just for laughs

Just for laughs

Though most parts of our life is serious, but it is also fun-filled, isn't it? Just 2 days and I had "lots of fun" laughing at some things ...

On decision to change cars
A, pal and myself began full-time ministry in school at almost the same time, and hence became the closer ones amongst all our other colleagues. A enrolled for full-time theological studies a year ago and was encouraging pal and me to do the same. Quite coincidentally, all 3 of us changed to our current cars around the same time also - probably with gaps of 1/2 year in between. Over tea yesterday, A told us she was going to get her new car soon, and pal in her excitement said, "We 3 are like Charlie Angels, let's also go and change to the same type of car together." I was simply amused - my! big decisions like these are not made this way! =)

"Confused" identity
After pal declared A, herself and me to be "Charlie Angels", I'm simply amused again at my many "identities". With pal - we are the "inseparable twin"; with A, pal and me - we are the "Charlie Angels"; with pal, me, xiao-di and xiao-mei - we are the "family of four". Haha, I was just expressing over msn to Xiao-di how "confused" I was with all my "identities" ... but well, I love all my identity and where I belong *SMILE*

On going vegetarian during camp
We are glad to have the girls who had finished their "O" levels help us plan and execute the coming drill camp. Due to special dietary requirement, we sometimes need to order vegetarian food for some girls. We had one girl who WILL NOT eat any vegetable at all (picking even the bean sprouts out from amidst a packet of fried bee-hoon ...), so when we teased her about all meals during the camp being vegetarian, her face almost turned pale in shock =) Sigh* she ah - last year during our mission trip, we had to force her to eat one small piece of veggie - can't remember what that was, but she had to had 3 to 5 spoonfuls of rice to help her swallow that small piece of veggie ... *SIGH*

On serious talk
I always ensure I made time to speak to some of the key leaders, especially when I'm aware that they might not be coping as well as they seem. So when I told one of the leader (whom I meet weekly to talk and pray) that I'm going to have a serious talk with her, she almost freak out *wink* She kept pestering me to reveal the contents of the talk - of which I reminded her of the possibility of her dreams coming true (she had once told me that she dreamt of me scolding her and I really burst out laughing =) So I guess I'm giving her sleepless nights trying to figure out what am I going to talk about, or whether I'm really going to scold her *wink*
