Thankful for the day! =)
Thankful for the day! =)
OK, today's a day I'm super super happy and high *wink* Surprises, surprises *SMILE*
Upon reaching college, I went to my mailbox to check if there's anything - kind of suspect will be getting Dr ConsistenCy's paper as the seniors told me he clears his marking fairly promptly ...
I was praying, "I'll be contented with a C - as long as I don't fail" and lo and behold, when I opened the mailbox, yup, the assignment was there!! Gosh, I had to hold my breath and retrieve it and prepare myself for the worse ... As I search for the grade ... Haha, Daddy's so good!! I didn't fail!! And I conquered Dr C's paper! Yey!!
I was so happy that I messaged a good friend from church who had helped me with this paper in some ways. Haha, I still remembered "complaining" to him that I can't figure out head and tail about what syncretistic contextualization is and how to write my paper according to what Dr C wants. He's such a nice friend - even helped me find a simplified version to the meaning of this term =) Thanks, owe you one big one k =)
Then came a second surprise - he replied my message with these words "look behind u!" - haha, I thought he was warning me not to be too happy and proud (for pride is the 1st step to a downfall =P and I was kind of scratching my head pondering over the "deep" meaning of his words. However, being the forever curious me, I did turn back - and lo and behold, he was there with a few of the others from my church - attending the college's "open house" session, where it gives a chance for those considering theological education to find out more about the college, etc. Haha, one of them in the group was actually my Sunday School student many years back and he commented that my reaction upon seeing them was just like the behavior of a little girl - dancing with joy! =) Heehee, that's me mah - giggle giggle, easily surprised, happy and content =)
Hmm ... besides my friend from church , I also need to thank some seniors who had given me advice about how to approach the paper, and not forgetting my chaplain (another student who conquered Dr C's classes) who reminded me "think out of the box - that's what Dr C wants!" =)
WOW! I've never had such a happy day, so full of surprises day for quite some time already. It feels really good. Thank you Daddy! =)
Well, Daddy does bless us richly, doesn't He? And when He does so, remember to be thankful to His blessings and give thanks and praise to Him, on the other hand, remember not to become proud and haughty too! *wink*
