Choices - year end holiday
Choices - year end holiday
Sometimes in life, it's not too good to be swamped by too many choices or options - it puts you in a spot trying to decide which is the best to pick amongst them, don't you agree? And then, on the other hand, to be careful that whoever that is turned down don't feel "offended" or "hurt" =P
By this time of the year, usually planning for the year-end holiday begins. A friend asked me if I'm keen to explore South Africa with her - WOW! Exotic right? Sounds good huh? But it's EXPENSIVE!! though the thought of it does make me "drool". However, looking at the plans I have for next year, I have to save up as much as I can from now on leh ... *sigh* Haha, unless my Daddy from above decides to rain down money from heaven to me *wink*
The second option - go for a medical mission trip with my girls to Cambodia. Actually I know that if there are enough ratio of adults to students, the group can probably be bigger - meaning, we can take more girls ... but, I'm not so keen to visit Cambodia again leh - especially if it's going to be a working trip (I mean, not that I don't enjoy working trips or last year's trip, but it's just different ...)
The third option - go for a church mission trip, this time round with my CG. In some ways, it's holiday with a purpose, to Phuket. But the one thing about this trip is that the dates are a bit "tricky" - the school's going to move back to our original premises in mid Dec and there's lots of packing and moving, and then the unpacking to do. Quite a "stressful" period to be away actually, but yet it's a good time of CG gathering and bonding leh - something like our annual "pilgrimage" to one of the resort in Malaysia and spending time together - haha, bonding time with godsons too, my good friend their mother always say =)
Aiya, how ah? Choice 1, choice 2 or choice 3? Sigh* when we are not given choices, we complain ... and when we are given too many choices, we can't make up our minds ... we mankind are never contented with our options hor ...
Hmm ...just thought of one more choice - stay put here and save money *wink* ... haha, what a "choice"!

Moreover you have a friend here :P
Why waste the money on the airfare and hotel to see some other ppl's country when you have to save for better things.
The countries are always there. They are not going away.
But opportunities to save may get tougher.
Do I make sense?
