Great friends! ... plus gentle reprimand =)

Great friends! ... plus gentle reprimand =)

God has been so good to me - sending me really great friends into every area and into every corner of my life - in church, in school, in college, etc. Friends who could just share tears and laughter with ... friends who can go crazy with you together ... friends who pray and stand together ... friends whom we can trust each other with our struggles, failures and secrets ...

Friends mean a lot to me - especially those that I can really click with, and whom I know can help to shape and mold me as I grow in life. And because they matter, I make it a point to remember their special days so that even if I can't spend time with them, at least I'll remember to send an sms or e-card to wish them God's blessings =)

I have 2 friends whose birthday falls on the same week - just 2 days apart, and all 3 of us happened to be born in the same year *wink* - haha, no wonder we can click so well! =) It was good just "celebrating" their birthdays with them, though I had to "pack" 2 birthday celebrations in the same day, within a span of 3 hours =)

The 1st celebration was an informal ice-cream time together - a very short time of laughter and fun, where we let our hair down and talk nonsense. It's a pity we had to rush through the time as a few of us had other appointments later in the day. I guess I like times like these where you just talk about anything under the sun, tease and laugh at each other - but yet on the other hand, it's also times like these that I really (REALLY!) let my hair down, be myself and really "GO WILD!" - so much so that pal has to "reprimand" me that I was so gigglish and girlish, and can become so loud, that is so unbecoming of a lady =P Thanks for the reprimand - really appreciate that, I'll make it a point to remember that as I enjoy myself in the company of friends in the future, I need to watch my behavior too - continue to remind me k =) So sorry if my behavior has "embarassed" anyone of you folks who were with me yesterday =P but yet again, thanks for accepting me just as I am, and being with me on this journey of character-refining =)

The 2nd celebration was a casual dinner before the night class that I was attending - a friend from school was attending it with me and we met over a simple dinner. Although it was a simple time, simple fare, but it was another great time too! Thanks for being so honest with me to share your struggles and for trusting me enough to share with me deeply! It meant a great deal to me how much you value me as a friend and how much you trust me enough to keep what you share confident.

Friends are precious gems that add colors and sparkles in my otherwise plain and dull life, and I really thank God for each one of you - especially those that God allowed me to spend more time with, and to get to know better where we can share our struggles and concerns and yet know that our secrets are safe with each other! For those who had been such a wonderful friend to me - I hope that I had been a wonderful and true friend to you as well! =)
