Chill out

Chill out

With Good Friday as a public holiday, the weekend gets an "additional" day for most of us in terms of rest and catching up with lots of backlog and stuff that are outstanding.

Before we began to seriously spend time mugging again, or begin penning words for our term paper, or to begin studying for their exam next Fri (for some of my classmates - haha, thank God I've taken this subject 2 years ago ... but I'll pray very hard for you all k =), a few of us decided to spend some time to chill out. We met for a simple dinner before proceeding for a drink at Breko, Bugis Village.

It was a good time spent together just letting our hair down, reminiscing how we first got to meet each other last July and how fast time flies, recalling some silly things that each one of us do, of course coupled with our usual grumbles and grouses. Of course amidst us there's the AS (anti-social) "irreverend reverend" who spent all night sms-ing his youths to arrange for some outing thingy =) ... then there's the one (xiao-di) who still live in Day 1 of college as he kept remembering the funny incidents that happened then ... then there's the "visible invisible man" (JJ) whom we all kept teasing (cannot serve a pizza properly lah, who gave all of us a "scare" on the first day thinking that Osama had come to spy on us) ... the so "tame and serious" xiao-mei (according to her hubby =) that became a super crazy one now (hmm .. think we "brought the worst" out of her after so many months together =) ... and a couple of others.

Like I've mentioned before, I really appreciate my classmates - there's a check and balance of seriousness when it comes to study and work, and fun-loving spirit when it comes to play. Most of us (the fun ones lah, of course) are in the coming college retreat committee, so look forward to having all the fun-filled activity that this committee is going to come up with ... *wink*

Time to chill out ... and now time to study and mugging, and catching up with some rest before springing into action again when the new week begins.
