"Opening ceremony"
"Opening ceremony"
For the first time after 19 days (from 26 Oct till today), I finalyy had a good look at my wound. Since the stitches were removed (except the internal ones that just stubbornly refused to wriggle its way out when tugged), I was told to leave the bandage still on for another 3 to 4 days. Finally, I plucked up enough courage today (the 4th day) to remove the bandage and had the "opening ceremony" officiated, haha.
The wound is really long - about 11cm!!! So can you imagine if I had been given external stitches, how ugly they would have looked?? =(
My hand still feels pain once in a while because of the tightness of the muscles and the strain caused by the wound. Looking to my Healer for healing and recovery, and resting in His peace, assurance, confidence and love ...
