Therapy

Therapy

Been reading chunks and chunks of books, notes, and whatever that I can find my hands on - not because I enjoy reading per se, but because of the mountainous piles that come one right after another for each weeks' assigned readings.

Amidst all these stresses, I decided that I needed some therapy, yes, otherwise either I'll end up in a mental hospital (due to all the criss-crossing of the material read from the different subject that is puffing up and trying to make sense within my brain) or I'll being to talk incohorent and bring in Hiltner, Tidball, Oden, Clinebell, Kornfield, McGrath, Klein, Duff, etc ... haha

What therapy suits a woman best? Retail and spa of course!! Haha. I spent about 2 hours shopping for more clothes after church yesterday - since mum asked me to buy back some groceries, why not kill 2 birds with one stone *wink* By the way, mum is not supposed to know that I've sneaked in more clothes into my wardrobe, I had to so discreetly bring them into my room, haha.

And since Monday is a day where I've got no class, what better options than to pamper myself with a spa treatment =) Hmm.. don't get me wrong - this spa package was signed up long before I quitted work, so I'm indeed a poor theological college student still *wink* In fact, it was not only a session of relaxation and getting my face rejuvenated again, but I was quite thankful that I managed to speak with my therapist about the issue of religion - well, not in depth, of course, but at least a good start. I've been with this therapist for more than 2 years, and she knew that I had quitted my job and studying as a student, just that she wasn't aware what I was studying. Hence, by telling her about my theological education brings a curiosity in her about why I wanted to study, about religion, etc. Hopefully in time to come, I can talk more in-depth with her on this issue of who God is. A friend once commented that doing evangelism in a spa is expensive, haha, I guess I have to agree about that =)
