Swarmed by books, readings and work

Swarmed by books, readings and work

It's the period of the term/semester again where activity peaks, where readings pile up, where assignment deadlines follow closely one after another!!

I'm just so swarmed by all the work to be done in school, particularly with regard to GB, as we are having our Enrolment service in 2 days' time - a big, annual event. Then in April, the entire GB Singapore is going to hold the "Award and Dedication" service in the school - reason? because we've just moved back to our Promised Land, and that means 2 more weekends in April burnt for rehearsal and the actual service itself. And every fortnightly, I will have 30 over Bible Reading journals to mark , which I need to clear within 1 day otherwise the girls will be delayed in doing their records without the books back.

To add on to all the "stress", 3 days in a week I'll be rushing to college from school, or otherwise rushing back from college to school. To instantly "switch" to the correct function mode at the right place - that I must say is really no joke!

I have piles of readings that are outstanding still - although I try as best as I could to clear each week's readings before class. MY! The required readings for each week seemed to be more and more! I have not started on my NT term paper, not to mention my WR term paper - 2 major papers ... dead meat.

I think I'm really stressed out - forgetting to sign the cheque which I sent for my credit card payment ... forgotten where I slot my chapel committee meeting minutes (with all my notes scribbled on it!!) ... forgotten to book the meeting room for meeting ... forgotten that I need to pick up my letters from my old house ... my, my, my ... am I getting old and forgetful, or all these are just making me crazy? *SAD*

But to be fair, I must say JY has helped a great deal in terms of school ministry. As an intern that is totally new to the ministry, I kind of more or less throw her into the deep waters already =P She has really helped to take over a number of things from me where school ministry is concerned. What more complains do I have? *SMILE*

Anyway, thanks for bearing with my whinings - somehow writing does help me de-stress a fair bit. I'm back to being normal again, so my subsequent posts should be more sensible ones =)
