College semestral break
College semestral break
Classes for college temporary cease until 2 weeks later - guess it's a time for us to catch a breather from attending classes, but then it also means that it's a time for us to be busily mugging to catch up with the readings we have been lagging behind ... thinking through our assignments and term papers ... doing some research, etc at the libary ... and perhaps managing some outstanding personal or family stuff.
Sigh* while the rest of my classmates have 2 weeks of break, I have only 1 =( because school is still on - it will only close for the 1 week break at the end of this week. So for the last two days, I have been busy preparing all the schedules for the coming term, zapping them, distributing them to the respective persons, etc; of course not forgetting marking the girls' badgework - which is like 20 to 30 over journals. I was rushing the marking like mad - I can't hold the girls' journals for too long otherwise they won't be able to do their reflections and records every day. So by the end of the day, my eyes were super tired and I just felt that I've almost retreated into the galaxy with stars revolving around =P
I'm looking forward to the next week of official break - from college and from school, but then it's a whole list of to-dos that await completion. Now I'm just praying and hoping that I can clear as much of my assignments as I can, and catch up with my WR extra reading material (which is about 1/2 thickness of a 2" file??) given by the lecturer.
For His glory, by His strength - that's what we are claiming upon for this year.
