Thanks to all for the time of celebration and lovely memories=)

I mentioned in my earlier post that December is my favourite month and one of the reason is obvious *wink* well, if you haven't figure out why, it's because it's the month of my birth =)

Last year this time, I was half in Cambodia and half back in Singapore - coz we were on our last day in our Cambodia m trip and touched down in Singapore in the afternoon - so that's why "half here, half there" =P There was a mini-celebration for 3 of us whose birthdays fall within the 7-day period of the trip.

Hmm ... this year, "celebrations" began as early as last Monday, end Nov?? That was during our officers' meeting when suddenly my colleague just stopped the meeting half-way and sang "Happy Birthday" song. To top it off, they gave me this shower gel and perfume set, which is one of my many favourite scent (out of the many favourites I have) ...

Then last Saturday while our CG was preparing for our mission trip, I had another "celebration" - a delicious birthday cake, which I had to share with L, who's just 1 day my junior *SMILE*

And yesterday, my girls arranged to go for a movie after their drill practice. We went to watch "Open Season" - super funny show which we all enjoyed. And since it is a "cartoon", I brought my 2 godsons along. After the movie, L came to pick the 2 boys up, so I had to excuse myself from the rest of them and bring the 2 boys down to the car where their parents are waiting. As I moved back into the building, lo and below, WHERE ARE THEY? So I called one of my colleague who was with them, and she said, "We're still upstairs, we couldn't find one of the girl. Can you come up first?" Now, guess what? It was a "trick" to "lure" me up, coz they said "I was the missing girl!" =) When the girls saw me, they sang the "Happy Birthday" song so LOUDLY that I'm both surprised and "embarassed" (well, it was in a public place lah). Of course, there was also a cake, which this time round, was also shared with another colleague whose birthday's 2 days before mine. Haha, December's a good month to be born man! =) I'm really touched by their gestures and love - and all their secret planning that has been going on behind my back the last few days *grin* This was what they gave me ...

Chocolates (which melted and sitting in the fridge) and this tulips pops (it's candy =)

Handmade card made by the girls =)

Today, my "spiritual" family went out - real pity Bro can't join us coz he's down with very bad flu and fever, and xiao-mei's busy with all the dance program that is on in her church these few days. Had a great time with pal and xiao-di and besides a lunch treat, this was their gesture of love ... It says, "I love my sister" - it's a super small "cup" - about 1cm, cute right *wink*

Xiao-di said he can't find my name, so that was the best he could get, otherwise this present would have to wait for weeks to be imported.

Well, there's 12 days of Christmas, but I think I have many days of birthday too =) in fact, mum who believed in celebrating our lunar birthday will be preparing longevity noodles, eggs and drumsticks for me soon =) Haha, pal says why not have 365 days of birthdays ... I wish I could, but I can't be selfish and hoard everyday to myself, right? Let others have their many days of birthday too =)

Oh, I've also found out that Walt Disney and the King of Thailand shares the same birth date as me *SMILE*

Thanks to many colleagues, friends, students and my other siblings (& niece) who sms-ed their birthday wishes to me. Thanks to everyone who made time to make my birthday this day so memorable =) Do pray that I will continue to grow in the fear and knowledge of God, that I may be a woman after His heart.

Haha, and I finally got my own birthday cake! Sis bought one for me - without fail, every year =)
