Planning for the new year ...?
Just a week or so but a lot of things have happened, isn't it? First, there's rain for 3 days/nights and flooded some areas in the country, plus worse floods in neighboring countries. Then, there's the Taiwan earthquake which caused cables to be damaged and call/internet/cable services to be disrupted. WOW, I never knew we were so dependent on internet until this disruption - felt so "miserable" not being to logon to MSN, accessing websites which includes my blog.
Anyway, whatever has happened are meant for us to learn and draw lessons from. Life is meant to be live in a forward manner, isn't it? The past are just lessons for us to move ahead with greater wisdom/discretion, etc.
I guess many are beginning to do some reflection about this year, and planning for the new year (new year resolutions, etc). Whatever it is, it's always good to start off with some plans and structure. The past few days have been busy for me too - going back to school, unpacking, making my office look more "decent" and cozy ... preparing schedules for the new term, copying & distributing them ... etc. Well, whatever plans we may make for the new year, let us ask God for His wisdom and blessings (Prov 16:1-3).
Write your plans in pencil but give God the eraser - source unknown.
