How's study?

How's study?

I was chatting with Bre over msn, doing some catching up with her since she has started her poly life some time ago. After a while, Bre asked, "Umm... it sounds so funny to ask you ... but how's study?" Haha, I can understand why she felt so "funny" - all the while when we were in school, my meetings with her has always been me asking, "So how's your study?" Haha.

It was good catching up with some girls via msn - and as usual, some have been whining, "complaining", "lamenting", etc about school, teachers, etc =) I used to tell the girls, "Appreciate and cherish the time you have in school, it's no longer fun when you are out in the working world. School can be tough but it's really fun." Ironically, I find myself doing the same thing too ... haha. When you don't have something, you long for it, but when you do, you don't appreciate it. Amusing huh?

Something amusing ...
On a side note, my habit has always been to slip my fingers into my college mailbox to fish out whatever that is in there. So today, I was in for a "surprise"! I didn't even realize that Ms Narak's little note to the retreat comm. had been in my mailbox after the retreat was over - and that was like 4 weeks ago!!! =P So when I conveyed my thanks to Ms Narak, she was rather amused - super, super, super delayed response, haha.

And I'm beginning to know my friends better =) Jack-jack don't take spicy food, haha. Poor jack-jack could not eat some of the Phad Thai noodles I shared with him, though he very much wanted to help me finish that big portion, coz I sprinkled so much chilli powder on them =P Should have realized it when we went to EAT and he ordered this mee-pok without chilli, haha. And yes, Chye commented that I really love chilli when he saw my plate of nasi-lemak with all the spicy stuff, with additional chilli sauce "topping" on my rice *wink*
