Blessings!!

WOW, after about a month away from home (on business trip), sis is finally back!! I'm just so glad she's back - at least I don't have to be so stressed with handling a great number of things on my own, phew =) And the wonderful gift she has for me is a NEW LAPTOP!! She knew I was looking around for one to prepare for July when I pursue my full-time studies in college. In fact, I was contemplating buying a 2nd hand set from one of my church friend, and had been praying and asking God to lead me in this decision as I source around the market at the same time. Sis got the laptop from States, a HP Pavilion dv6000 (T2250 processor 1.73GHz, 0.99GB Ram, wirelss network, DVD RW) which costs S$1300. Much as I wanted to pay her for it, she said it's a gift for me!! WOW, can you imagine my joy? =) Really thank God for this provision, in fact, I was rather worried about how things are going to work out (especially finances) when I do my full-time studies.

Things at home are much better too - thanks to friends who have been praying for me, and for keeping what I shared with them confidential.

As for school - pretty much fire-fighting everyday, while keeping abreast all my readings and assignments. Oh, by the way, am I not glad to annouce that the top girl for "O" level is once again from GB!! Haha, this is the 2nd year we had the top girl from our CCA =) And yesterday we had a great time celebrating CNY in advance - a traditional program we will have before CNY. The girls went to the nieghbourhood to give out mandarin oranges and bless the community, then came back and "pai-nian" with the officers - and as usual, it's always "早点结婚" wishes for us officers. 1 girl is even cuter (think she is either Sec 1 or 2), she said, "早点成亲", and of course some girls who ran out of "成语" just rattle off whatever comes to their mind, and some wishes became "早生贵子" for us officers - I almost fell off my chair laughing =) After that, we had a time where we " 捞鱼生" and ended off with a dinner to close the celebration. I guess CNY celebration is one of the event the girls look forward to =)

Well, God has really been good - we had about 45 Sec 1 recruits this year, bringing the total company enrolment to about 150!! Our prayer is that these girls will all grow to be God-fearing women, and those who do not know the Lord will ultimately come to know Him as their personal Lord and Savior.

For His glory, by His strength - that is what will continue to sustain us as we focus on God's strength to accomplish all that He set before us to do.
