Hmm... as if my plate is not filled-up enough of things to do ... suddenly the sharing of tomorrow's devotion end up on me ... more suddenly the organizing to have the alumni start up a prayer ministry land on my shoulders.
Well, don't get me wrong - not that I'm not keen to do it; my attitude has always been "yup, it will pile up on my plate and add on to my list of to-dos, but at the end of it, I'm sure I will benefit and learn from each experience." I guess the only grouse I have is that the job is given to me only when someone else thinks she can't manage it??? I mean, if that is something you think I can do, or should do, give it to me right from the start. What I hate (and I almost use the word detest) most is giving me a job half-done and then tell me to complete it for you.
"Lord, You have to help me handle these grouses, that they don't become personal towards the people who have thrown these tasks to me. Teach me to do it to the best of my ability, because in all I do, I'm doing it for You."
