2 Corinthians 13:14 "May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all." This is a verse that is normally used as a pronouncement for benediction. Have you ever wondered what the grace of God encompass?
Well for me, I guess, the grace of God encompass many things - the mercy of God (which includes forgiveness), the love of God (which includes patience), the blessings of God (which includes His manifold and abundant showers of gifts in our life), etc. In a nutshell, I think it just means EVERYTHING! Anyway, grace has sometimes been said to be the acronym for "God's Riches At Christ's Expense" - and it is because of Jesus Christ that we can gain favor with God, isn't it?
Maybe for this lunar new year, we can wish our family and friends the grace of God, instead of the usual blessing like "身 体 健 康"，"万 事 如 意"，"心 想 事 成", etc. And here's to you too - I wish you the grace of God " 新 年 蒙 恩"，" 新 年 蒙 福".
